Frequently asked questions.

What hours can I drive? ▾
You set your own hours. Most deliveries happen between 10am–9pm, with peak windows around lunch (11am–1pm) and dinner (5pm–8pm). There's no minimum hours requirement — drive when it works for you.
What kind of vehicle do I need? ▾
Any car, SUV, or van works. The vehicle needs to be in good working condition with valid registration. No vehicle wrap, decals, or commercial license required.
How and when do I get paid? ▾
Weekly, via direct deposit to your bank account. Earnings from each week (Monday–Sunday) are transferred the following Wednesday. Tips are included in your weekly payout.
Do I need to file taxes differently? ▾
Yes. Instafresh drivers are independent contractors (1099). We'll send you a 1099-NEC if you earn $600+ in a calendar year. You're responsible for tracking your own expenses — mileage, phone, etc. — which may be deductible. Consult a tax professional for personalized advice.
Am I covered by insurance during deliveries? ▾
Instafresh maintains commercial general liability coverage for drivers while actively delivering on platform. Your personal auto insurance covers you between deliveries. We recommend notifying your insurer that you do occasional delivery work.
